Tyson Chandler: Game 6 could be a blur
By Art Garcia
MIAMI -- Asked to paint of picture for Game 6, Tyson Chandler picked up his brush and went abstract.
"It would be a nice blur because there's going to be a lot going on in this game tonight," Chandler said Sunday morning before the first closeout game of the NBA Finals.
The Dallas Mavericks starting center is a budding artist who uses painting and sketching to relax. Chandler definitely looked calm with a championship in sight. The Mavs hold a 3-2 series lead over the Miami Heat.
Chandler said the Mavs aren't looking to do anything different with a chance to end the series.
"It's the same game plan, just turn it up a notch," he said. "You don't change your game plan defensively. You try to make teams adapt to what you're trying to accomplish out there. When you're keying on guys you try to take away their sweet spots and their tendencies. We're a lot more focused in now."
"Definitely so," Chandler said. "They pose a threat because of their athleticism, their speed, the way they convert on turnovers, but I feel like when you put guys in the right one-on-one matchup against a team, the team should have the success."
