Heat 105, Mavs 96: Parsons struggles; Deng dominates

Deng Powers Heat's Charge Past Mavs

Luol Deng, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade combined for 70 points in the Heat's 105-96 win over the Mavericks.

DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks got handled on their home court by the Miami Heat in a 105-96 loss.

Mismatch of the game: Miami small forward Luol Deng scored 30 points on 13-of-18 shooting. Mavs small forward Chandler Parsons scored four points on 1-of-9 shooting. Guess which guy got the much bigger contract in free agency this summer?

Stat of the game: The Mavs' losing streak against the Heat now stands at seven games, including six decided by double figures. Dallas' most recent win over Miami came in Game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals.

Mavs line of the game: Center Tyson Chandler posted his third double-double in a four-game span, scoring 16 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. It's the second consecutive game in which Chandler posted season highs in both categories.

Guest of the game: Rapper 2 Chainz sat in the courtside seat next to Mavs owner Mark Cuban. Unlike most of the sellout crowd, 2 Chainz stayed until the final buzzer.
