FORT WORTH, Texas -- You wouldn't think a possible government shutdown would impact a NASCAR race, but had an extension not gone into effect late Friday night, there would have been no flyover of F-15s and the U.S. Army "Brass Brigade" would not have performed the National Anthem.

But as it stands, everything is on schedule. The F-15s are flying out of the 159th FW Louisana Airborne Division and the US Army Brass Brigade is here and ready.
