I talked to Daniel Hernandez on Wednesday and he says he's ready to go. ihe captain says It's down to the coach whether Hernandez will start of not, but Hernandez will play. If it were me I would start the captain, get to halftime, and see how he's going. Ugo Ihemelu is in the same boat, having trained this week. With two games left Coach Schellas Hyndman will be wanting to get his starting eleven on the field.
Up top look for Milton Rodriguez to continue to start with Jeff Cunningham off the bench. In midfield Brek Shea needs to earn his place back, Marvin Chavez and Atiba Harris are the wide mids for now. Dax McCarty wasn't sharp in the last game, so Eric Alexander may hold down his spot.
With the return of Ugo Ihemelu, one wild card could be Jackson. Some reports have him taking the right mid spot this week, which is quite possible, but with Heath Pearce having been in US camp Jackson at right back would only be a mild shock.
George John should be pushed to 90 and Dario Sala will stay in net as Kevin Hartman is still out.
RSL is coming off the busiest stretch in franchise history, with 14 games in 56 days.
RSL and FCD have combined for a record of 25-2-20 since May 1 this year
Jeff Cunningham is currently tied with D.C. United’s Jaime Moreno with 132 career goals atop the all time list.
RSL, over the last two seasons, have a 20-1-10 record at home, including their current streak of 24 games unbeaten at home.
FC Dallas matched the MLS record with 19 consecutive games without a loss. They also have a 12 consecutive away games unbeaten streak.
RSL has a 12 game unbeaten streak of their own.
With a victory, Real Salt Lake will clinch one of the top two spots in the Western Conference and have homefield advantage in the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinal Series.
