US U17s on ESPN3 at 6 PM CT

If you would like to catch a glimpse of the future of US soccer the US U17s will be on ESPN3 tonight (Friday) at 6 PM CT as they take on Jamaica in the Semi-Finals of the CONCACAF U17 Championships. Panama faces Canada in the other Semi-Final.

FC Dallas Academy product Kellyn Acosta was sent off in the quarter-final against EL Salvador and won't play in the semi. Acosta should return for the final is the US advances.

THe US has already qualified for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup and is now free to concentrate on winning the CONCACAF Championship. All four of the CONCACAF representatives for the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup have been decided, with the four quarterfinal winners advancing. Panama, Canada, Jamaica and the U.S. will join host Mexico for the event, which kicks off on June 18 across seven Mexican cities. The U.S. has continued its streak of being the only nation to have qualified for all 14 FIFA U-17 World Cups.
