Edit: Game 6 of the World Series has officially been canceled, so this ticket promotion is now in effect.

FC Dallas is going to offer $6 tickets to Wednesday's playoff game in honor of the potentially postponed Game Six of the MLB World Series. If the World Series is postponed, fans can show a ticket stub from any 2011 Rangers game to receive $6 ticket price to the FC Dallas playoff match tonight.

FC Dallas is offering a special deal for Dallas sports fans who planned to watch tonight’s postponed Game Six of the World Series. Fans can bring a ticket stub from any 2011 Texas Rangers game to the Pizza Hut Park box office to get a discounted $6 ticket to tonight’s playoff game between FC Dallas and the New York Red Bulls, presented by Cash America.

The FCD playoff game against New York Red Bulls kicks off at 8 p.m. CT and airs live on FOX Soccer. Without a Rangers ticket stub, tickets to tonight’s game start as low as $10.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m. with $2 beer, $4 wine and Hornitos margaritas at the Budweiser Beer Garden through halftime. There will also be $1 hot dogs at all concession stands.

FC Dallas is 0-1-1 against the 10th-seeded Red Bulls with the two sides playing to a 2-2 tie at Red Bull Arena on July 23. The Red Bulls won at Pizza Hut Park, 1-0, on Sept. 17. The two clubs met in the 2000 MLS Conference Semifinals with New York advancing on two 2-1 wins in the aggregate series.
