FC Dallas steamrolls Orlando City

February, 29, 2012

Orlando City has MLS ambitions, MLS Commissioner Don Garber is giving them some serious consideration to be the league's 20th team. But the would-be-MLS side fell short of the mark yesterday in the Disney classic when they ran into FC Dallas.

Orlando was in trouble right out of the gate when former FC Dallas draft pick, and current OC keeper, Sean Kelly was red carded four minutes into the game for a tackle on Blas Perez. David Ferreira converted the PK.

Ferreira later assisted on Fabian Castillo's 33' goal. Blas Perez and Andrew Wiedeman added 2nd half goals to bring the scoreline to 4-0.

FCD Trialist Geoffrey Tulasne got the start for FC Dallas wide in midfield. Tulasne is a left sided Frenchman who plays for Bulgarian side Litex Lovech.

Dallas is back in action on Thursday, when they face Toronto FC at 5 pm CT.
