The US U23s tied El Salvador 3-3 today, finishing 3rd in Group A of the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying tournament, thus eliminating the Yanks from the tournament and the Olympic games. For any fan of US soccer this poor tournament performance is a massive disappointment and it sure looks like a step backward for US youth soccer.

But if you're an FC Dallas fans there is a silver lining, aside from his early assist on the first goal of the game, Brek Shea will now be returning to Dallas and he won't be missing a chunk of time for the big tournament in London this summer.

So FCD has that going for them, which is nice.
