George John's form continues to improve
The native of Washington state came into this season at quite a disadvantage, having not been with the club for the bulk of preseason as he was on loan to second-division English side West Ham United.
However, Hyndman acknowledges that after a brief acclimation period, he is starting to see John deliver better performances with each start alongside captain Ugo Ihemelu.
“Yeah, I think it was [his best game since he’s been back, against LA],” Hyndman said.
“I thought both he and Ugo did a pretty good job there. I think it was an improvement from last game, not that last game was bad but there is a steady improvement and you could tell he wasn’t with us for preseason.”
