One of the big questions surrounding the FC Dallas friendly against European Champions Inter Milan on August 5th has always been, "who among Inter's stars would play in the game?" According to FC Dallas it could be all of them, including Samuel Eto'o. Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Diego Milito are all "expected" to play.
Given Inter Milan is also playing Panathinaikos and Manchester City on the trip it remains to be seen how many stars will take the field against FC Dallas. The only star not yet confirmed is Wesley Sneijder who has kind of a big game Sunday to play for Holland.
Here's FCD's latest PR on the event...

Inter Milan confirms roster for North American tour
FRISCO, Texas (July 8, 2010) –Inter Milan head coach Rafa Benitez is planning a star-studded roster, including fan favorite Samuel Eto’o, for the Italian side’s North American tour this August.
Inter Milan faces FC Dallas at Pizza Hut Park at 8 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 5, and Benitez is busy making plans for the North American road trip.
“We’re really looking forward to getting quality games to help prepare for our season,” said Benitez, whose club begins Serie A play in late August. “We’d like as many of our players as possible in place to really gauge where we are while we have an opportunity to face good competition in FC Dallas, Panathinaikos and Manchester City.”
The only Inter Milan player not currently confirmed for the trip is Wesley Sneijder, as the Dutch star is preparing for Sunday’s World Cup Final. Eto’o, Javier Zanetti, Dejan Stankovic, Julio Cesar, Maicon and Champions’ League hero Diego Milito are among the stars expected at Pizza Hut Park in August.
Anyone who purchases tickets to the Aug. 5 Inter Milan game between now and July 19 will earn access to a private team practice session the night before the match.
