FC Dallas vs Toronto FC match preview
Dax McCarty appears to be out with an injury so Bruno Guarda will probably start in his place. Guarda isn't as polished a passer as McCarty but does have a knack for scoring. One way Guarda does shine is limiting turnovers, perhaps because he doesn't try to do as much. Outside of that one change don't expect any variations by FCD from last week.
|Brek Shea||Burno Guarda||Atiba Harris|
|Jair Benitez||Ugo Ihemelu||George John||Heath Pearce|
QUESTIONABLE: MF Dax McCarty (R quad strain)
So will new TFC signing Mista get into the lineup? That seems to be the biggest question. Nick LaBrocca on the right is an underrated but solid player who fits well in a Preki team. De Rosario leads TFC in scoring with 8 goals and 3 assists.
|Chad Barrett||Maicon Santo|
|Dwayne De Rosasrio||Julian de Guzman||Amadou Sanyang||Nick LaBrocca|
|Nick Garcia||Adrian Cann||Nana Attakora||Dan Gargan|
OUT: DF Emmanuel Gomez (R knee osteochondral injury); DF Ty Harden (L calf strain);
QUESTIONABLE: MF Martin Saric (R quad strain); MF Dan Gargan (R adductor tightness)
Atiba Harris vs Nick Garcia. Garcia isn't a spring chicken anymore and he wasn't even close to fast when he was in his prime. Harris on the right should find space down the line giving snf behind Garcia giving him trouble. Rodriguez is a pure box goal scorer but either David Ferreria or Bruno Guarda will need to penetrate on occasion to take advantage of Harris' likely advantage on the right. If Adrian Cann has to help Garcia out, that should also open space for Rodriguez.
