FIFA Inspection Delegation visits Dallas and Houston
The FIFA Delegation was scheduled to visit the Dallas Convention Center, a proposed FIFA Congress site, at 6:45 am, then move onto Cowboys Stadium at 7:30. The Delegation was to be welcomed by the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders prior to a private meeting with Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
Scheduled for this afternoon is a 3:40 pm photo opportunity at Reliant Stadium in Houston. Followed by a media event: the official closing press briefing for the FIFA Inspection Visit at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. Harold Mayne-Nicholls, head of FIFA Inspection Delegation, and Sunil Gulati, president of U.S. Soccer and chairman of USA Bid Committee, will be speaking.
