FC Dallas news recap (9/21)

9/21/2010

Not surprisingly there is a lot of Henry/Hartman stuff form both before and after the $2000 fine to Henry.

NY Red Bull coach Hans Backe says there was no intent on Henry's behalf.

Henry Apologizes, although that looks like a rehash of the post game comments.

Steven Goff has Hartman's agent, Ron Waxman, sounding off on the fine and lack of suspension. It starts with "The members of the disciplinary committee should be embarrassed and ashamed," and it only gets better from there.

Simon Borg says Henry crossed the line.

Jason Saghini and Greg Lalas of MLSsoccer.com debate the incident.

Schellas Hyndman says the referee lacked courage to make the call and give Henry a second yellow.

“Henry was sitting on a yellow and the referee didn’t really have the courage to make the call. That’s what it came down to. You can say he kicked the ball, he did this, he did that but would we be in such a predicament as we are now going into these next few games?”

Wow, that's a nice quote.
