Dallas Stars cut 7 from roster

Forward Tomas Vincour and defenseman Philip Larsen have survived the latest round of Dallas Stars roster cuts.
The Stars have assigned F Eric Godard, F Colton Sceviour, F Travis Morin, F Ray Sawada, F Francis Wathier, D Maxime Fortunus and G Richard Bachman to the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.
The Stars now have 25 players on the roster, including F Scott Glennie (concussion-like symptoms) who will be assigned to Texas once he is cleared to return from an injury.
Among the 24 other players on the roster, the Stars have 14 forwards, 8 defensemen and 2 goaltenders.
The Stars need to be down to be the maximum of 23 active roster players by the season opener.
