Stars put Steve Ott on IR

The Dallas Stars have put forward Steve Ott on injured reserve retroactive to October 29. Ott isn't on the team's current road trip and has missed the last three games with a hip pointer.

With Brenden Morrow missing practice Thursday with an elbow issue, the move gives the Stars an open roster spot if Morrow is unable to play and the Stars want to call up a player from Texas of the AHL.
