Texas Stars Report

The past week

The Texas Stars went 1-1-0 over the past week and are 10-12-1 on the season. They are currently in fifth place in the AHL’s West Division.

On Friday, Tyler Beskorowany stopped 29 shots for his second career AHL shutout as the Stars defeated Charlotte 3-0 at Cedar Park Center. Colton Sceviour, Matt Fraser and Hubert Labrie were the goal scorers for Texas. Labrie’s goal was his first as a pro. Francis Wathier had a pair of assists.

On Saturday, the Stars lost 3-2 to West Division leading Oklahoma City in Cedar Park. Scott Glennie and Fraser scored for the Stars, who trail Oklahoma City by 18 points. Beskorowany stopped 16 of 19 shots.
