Morning skate update: Morrow out tonight

April, 6, 2010
DALLAS -- Brenden Morrow will not play in tonight's game against the Chicago Blackhawks so he can rest a sore foot.

Morrow has what the Stars described as a foot contusion and will get a break with the team out of the playoff hunt.

Matt Climie will get his first NHL start of this season in goal and the fourth of his career.

Philip Larsen, the Stars' 20-year-old defenseman that called Swedish Elite League, will not play in Tuesday's game. But he's expected to play Thursday and Saturday.
Richard Durrett joined in September 2009. He writes about colleges, the Dallas Stars and the Texas Rangers. Richard spent nine years at The Dallas Morning News covering the Rangers, Stars, colleges, motorsports and high schools.
