Stars put Jake Dowell on IR; recall Matt Fraser

The Dallas Stars have placed forward Jake Dowell on injured reserve with an upper body injury. Dowell, who was injured in last night's 3-0 victory at Montreal, will miss at least one week.
To fill the void, the Stars have called up left wing Matt Fraser from the Texas Stars. Fraser ranks fourth in the AHL in goal scoring with 26 in 50 games.
This is Fraser's second call up of the season. He played one game just before the All-Star break, registering no points in 3:57 of ice time against Anaheim on Jan. 24.
