Stars climb to 9th in ESPN Power Rankings

The surging Dallas Stars are ninth in this week's ESPN NHL Power Rankings, up two spots from last week.

ESPN.com's Pierre LeBrun put together this week's rankings and had this to say about the Stars:
So, a year ago they went from first to out of the playoffs in the stretch run. This year, it's the opposite. The red-hot Stars are 9-0-1 in their last 10 games, led by goal-scoring machine Michael Ryder.

Pittsburgh, winner of nine straight games, tops this week's rankings. St. Louis, the New York Rangers, Nashville and Detroit round out the top five. The complete rankings are here.
