Sunday World Championship update

Defenseman Philip Larsen was the only Stars player to see action at the World Championship on Sunday. He had no points, four shots on goal and a minus-1 rating in Denmark’s 4-3 loss to Italy.

Larsen played a game-high 25:36 as Denmark fell to 0-2 in the tournament.

Kari Lehtonen served as the backup in Finland’s 1-0 victory over Slovakia on Sunday. The Finns improved to 2-0 at the tournament. Both wins have been by 1-0 scores.
