The Texas Rangers take the field tonight as the World Series gets underway in San Francisco and the Fall Classic is going to present a challenge at times for the Dallas Stars.
At least two Stars’ games on this current homestand will be going on at the same time as games between the Rangers and San Francisco Giants.
Game 2 of the series, which is Thursday night in San Francisco, and Game 3, which is Saturday night in Arlington, are definite conflicts with games at American Airlines Center.
The Stars said this week they are going to make sure that fans attending the Stars’ games are in the loop with what’s going on as the Rangers and Giants battle it out in the World Series.
The Stars sent out a media advisory this week outlining their plan and here it is:
The Rangers game will be shown in its entirety on the external video board in AT&T Plaza.
American Airlines Center features over 500 television sets in public areas, including all Club settings, suite televisions, elevators and concourses. The Stars plan on having half of these televisions on the Rangers game and half on the Stars game.
The Stars will be showing in-game World Series updates on the main scoreboard after every inning, including the replay of highlights when available.
