Here's a look at the salary and salary cap outlook for the Dallas Stars now that the team has agreed to a six-year, $19.8 million contract extension with defenseman Trevor Daley.

The Stars have 17 players under contract for next seas0n - 10 forwards, 5 defenseman and 2 goaltenders - for just under $41 million in actual salary commitments and $40.4 million in cap costs. Those cap costs include the $1.9375 million the Stars are still responsible for due to Sean Avery being taken via re-entry waivers by the New York Rangers.

The unrestricted free agents for the Stars at this point are forwards Brad Richards, Brian Sutherby and Brandon Segal and defensemen Karlis Skrastins and Jeff Woywitka.

They have no restricted free agents among the regular roster players this season.
