The word out of Chicago this morning is that Corey Crawford, not Marty Turco, will get the start in goal for the Chicago Blackhawks tonight as they take on the Dallas Stars at the United Center.

This will be the second straight time that Turco will not get a chance to face his former teammates when the Stars and Blackhawks meet. There are still more meetings this season, both of them in Dallas.

Crawford has started 14 of the last 18 games for Chicago and he sat out three games in that stretch while battling the flu.

Turco has had some ups and downs recently. He played well in two of his last three games, but over his last seven starts, he is 1-5-0 with a 4.19 goals against average and a .860 save percentage. For the season he is 9-10-2, 3.02 goals against average and a .899 save percentage.

Crawford, on the other hand, is 12-7-1, with a 2.33 GAA and a .914 save percentage.
