Dallas Stars Prospects: Notes and Stats

Here’s an update on Dallas Stars prospects playing in juniors, college and Europe.

*F Scott Glennie (Brandon/WHL) had eight points (two goals, six assists) in three games last week, including five assists in a 9-2 win over Calgary. He was a plus-five in that game as well. Glennie has 43 points (14 goals, 29 assists) in his last 29 games.

*Alex Chiasson scored two goals in Boston University’s 4-2 win over Vermont over the weekend. Chiasson, a sophomore, leads BU in goals (8), points (20) and is tied for the team lead in assists (12).

*D Jace Coyle (Medicine Hat/WHL) is listed as week-to-week with a knee sprain.

World Junior Championship notes

*G Jack Campbell was named the tournament’s best goalkeeper and was named to the tournament’s All-Star team after posting a 5-1-0 record, 1.70 goals against average and a .941 save percentage for Team USA, which one of the bronze medal.

*D John Klingberg had one goal, one assist and a plus-two rating in six games for Sweden, which lost in the bronze medal game to Team USA.

*D Patrik Nemeth had one assist and a plus-one rating in six games for Sweden.
