A few notes from this morning's Dallas Stars skate at American Airlines Center. It looks like it will be the same lineup as the last game with Kari Lehtonen in goal. Matt Niskanen appears to be the healthy scratch on defense.

On the injury front today:

Toby Petersen skated with the team again this morning. He won't play tonight and he's not expected to play Sunday, but he could be ready for the Stars' road trip next week.

"I think he is a definitely possibility as we head into the road trip," said Crawford. "It would be surprise to all of us if he was ready for Sunday's game, but he is getting closer."

Crawford said Adam Burish (fractured orbital bone) had surgery earlier this week.

"Hopefully he'll be less than two weeks before he is able to play," Crawford said of Burish. "He'll probably play with a full face mask. We're hope that the doctors clear him. He's chomping at the bit. He's trying to talk our doctors into letting him play even quicker than that."

Jamie Benn (shoulder) continues to skate, but still no timetable on his return.

"He skated yesterday and he's skating again today up in Frisco," said Crawford. "We're hopeful he continues to make those daily improvements."

Krys Barch (fractured orbital bone) is expected to start skating next week.
