Nicklas Grossman returns tonight

March, 11, 2011
Defenseman Nicklas Grossman, who has missed the last 11 games with a hip injury, will return tonight when the Dallas Stars take on the Minnesota Wild at American Airlines Center.

"To have everybody available, we haven't had that happen since probably before Christmas," said Stars coach Marc Crawford. "It's nice that that has happened and it's good to have Nick Grossman back in our lineup."

This will be Grossman's first game since February 13, when he went out in the first period of a game against Columbus with the injury.

"I'm ready to rock," Grossman said. "It's always bad being on the sidelines and watching the guys battle. You want to be there, but sometimes things have to run their course and you have to be smart about it. I am really excited to get back in."

With Grossman back in, Crawford said Mark Fistric would be the scratch on defense. Brian Sutherby will be a scratch at forward and Crawford said he's still undecided on the other scratch up front.

Kari Lehtonen gets the start in goal.
