The Dallas Stars will be heading back to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island for training camp in September, a team official has confirmed. An official announcement is expected soon.
The team held a brief camp there last September and both the Stars and city considered it a success.
The two sides met recently in Dallas and have reached an agreement for the Stars to return, and this time the stay will be a little longer.
The tentative dates have the Stars with a prospects practice on September 16, a full practice on September 17, an intrasquad scrimmage on September 18 and then full practices on the September 19 and September 20.
And there is also the possibility that the Stars could make a stop in Montreal for a preseason game against the Canadiens before returning to Texas to finish out camp and the preseason. But that is not set in stone yet.
