FRISCO -- The Dallas Stars held an optional practice in Frisco today. A small group of players were on the ice with the coaching staff.
Defenseman Mark Fistric, who missed yesterday's game in Anaheim, took part. Fistric said he was out with an upper body injury that was the result of the high stick he took in the Los Angeles game on Saturday. He said he thought he would be fine for tomorrow' game against Columbus.
Adam Burish, who has missed the last ten games with a leg injury, took part in the practice as well. Defenseman Nicklas Grossman, who has been out the last six games with a knee injury, skated on his own at one end of the ice.
"Grossman skated today and is improving. Burish was full out today and is improving," Crawford said. "Fistric skated today and is improving, so we'll see where he is tomorrow. I guess he may be a possibility. Burish and Grossman are probably a little bit later in the week as possibilities."
Crawford said Brian Sutherby, who has been out with a back injury, skated today but is not ready yet.
Kari Lehtonen will get the start in goal tomorrow.
