About the Stars

The Stars ran their winning streak to four games and kept their playoff hopes alive with a 3-2 win at Colorado on Friday night. They need for Detroit to beat Chicago in regulation and then get a regulation or overtime win against the Wild to secure a playoff spot Sunday.

“It boils down to one more day. We’re still alive,” Stars captain Brenden Morrow said. “We’ve got to worry about our game and we’ll look for some help from there.”

Kari Lehtonen will get the start in goal.

Injuries: D Nicklas Grossman (knee) and F Brian Sutherby (back) are out.

About the Wild

The Wild won 3-1 at Edmonton on Friday to complete a sweep of the six-game season series with the Oilers. There were a total of 122 penalty minutes In the game, including 100 in the first period.

“We kind of got that out of the way, let them know we were there to compete and not get bullied out of this barn," Wild forward Brad Staubitz said. "We got those goals and stuck together as a team and played strong."

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Wild.

Injuries: C John Madden (foot) and D Marek Zidlicky (hamstring) are questionable. D Cam Barker (back), RW Martin Havlat (upper body), LW Guillaume Latendresse (lower body), D Marco Scandella (finger) and D Nick Schultz (head) are out.
