Dallas Stars Prospects: Notes and Stats

Here’s an update on Dallas Stars prospects still playing in the Canadian Hockey League playoffs.

*G Jack Campbell and the Windsor Spitfires were knocked out of the playoffs Wednesday night with a 10-4 loss to Owen Sound, which won the OHL’s Western Conference Finals 4-1. Campbell, who was in goal for all 10 goals against Wednesday, ended the playoffs with a 9-8 record, 3.74 goals against average, .887 save percentage and two shutouts.

*LW Matt Fraser (Kootenay/WHL) is tied for second in goal scoring (12) and ranks third in both points (21) and plus/minus (plus-13) in the WHL Playoffs. Kootenay defeated Medicine Hat 7-2 Wednesday night to take the Eastern Conference Finals in four games. Kootenay will play either Spokane or Portland for the WHL’s Ed Chynoweth Cup.

*D Jace Coyle and D Alex Theriau had their seasons end when Medicine Hat lost to the Kootenay in the WHL playoffs Wednesday night. Coyle currently ranks second in playoff scoring among WHL defensemen with 15 points (3 goals, 12 assists) in 15 games.

*D Hubert Labrie (Gatineau/QMJHL) is tied for the league lead in playoff plus/minus with a plus-12 rating in 15 games. Gatineau currently trails Quebec 3-1 in the QMJHL Semifinals.
