Nicklas Grossman leaves game after collision

Dallas Stars defenseman Nicklas Grossman left Monday’s World Championship game between Sweden and Austria early in the third period after a collision with teammate Magnus Paajarvi.
Grossman, whose knee collided with the knee of Pajaarvi, was down on the ice for a while before getting up and skating slowly on his own to the locker room. He did not return. Initial reports from Team Sweden indicated that the injury was not serious. (Video of collision is here)
Stars forward Tom Wandell, who was scheduled to play for Sweden at the tournament, suffered a shoulder injury in an exhibition game is out of the World Championship.
Sweden won Monday’s game 3-0. Stars forward Loui Eriksson had one assist Monday for the Swedes, who improved to 1-0-1 in the tournament. Eriksson, who played 17:14, had one shot on goal and was a plus-two, has three points (two goals, one assist) and a plus-three rating in two games.
Stars prospect goaltender Jack Campbell was the third goaltender for Team USA, which rallied to beat Norway 4-2. The USA, which improved to 2-0-0, plays Sweden on Wednesday.
