Dallas Stars prospects: Notes and stats

Here are some notes and a statistical update on Dallas Stars prospects playing junior hockey, in Europe and in college.
*RW Alex Chiasson had 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and a plus-2 rating as Boston University opened the season with a 5-0 victory over New Hampshire.
*RW Reilly Smith (3rd round/2009) did not play in Miami University’s season opener. The Oxford Press quoted Miami coach Enrico Blasi as attributing it to “a violation of team rules and the coach’s decision.” Smith did not suit up for Miami’s second game.
*LW Alex Guptill (3rd round/2010), a freshman at the University of Michigan, has 2 goals, 1 assist and 16 shots on goal in his first 3 games.
F Austin Smith (5th round/2007), a senior at Colgate, picked up three points (1 goal, 2 assists) in the first two games of the season.
*RW Matej Stransky (6th round/2011) has 5 goals in 6 games for Saskatoon (WHL). He leads his team in goal scoring and points (7). He was tied for 8th in goal scoring heading into Tuesday’s games.
*G Jack Campbell (1st round/2010) is 4-0-1 with a 2.17 goals against average and .933 save percentage for Windsor (OHL) so far this season.
*RW Brett Ritchie (2nd round/2011) has missed the last three games for the Sarnia Sting (OHL) with an arm injury.
