Dallas Stars Prospects: Notes and Stats

Here are some notes and a statistical update on Dallas Stars prospects playing junior hockey, in Europe and in college.
*RW Alex Chiasson (2nd round/2009) had two goals and one assist in Boston University’s 5-4 loss to Holy Cross over the weekend. Chiasson now has four goals, three assists and a plus-seven rating in four games. He is currently tied for fourth in the nation in goal scoring (1.00/game) and tied for ninth in points (1.75/game).
*F Austin Smith (5th round/2007) scored both goals for Colgate in a 2-2 tie with Army over the weekend. Smith now has five goals and two assists in five games. He is tied for fourth in the nation in goal scoring (1.00/game).
RW Matej Stransky (6th round/2011) is currently second on Saskatoon (WHL) in scoring with 12 points (six goals, six assists) in eleven games.
*D Jamie Oleksiak (1st round/2011) has two goals and a plus-six rating over this last four games for Saginaw of the OHL.
*Oleksiak and RW Brett Ritchie (2nd round/2011) have been selected to play for Team OHL in the 2011 SUBWAY Super Series. The six-game series features Canadian-born players from the OHL, WHL and QMJHL taking on a team from Russia.
*G Jack Campbell (1st round/2010) suffered his first regulation loss of the season when Windsor (OHL) lost 6-3 to London on Sunday. Campbell is now 6-1-2 with a 2.72 goals against average and .919 save percentage.
*D John Klingberg (5th round/2010), who started the season with Jokerit in Finland’s top league, is now playing with Kiekko-Vantaa in Finland’s second highest league. Klingberg has four points (one goal, three assists) in two games with Kiekko-Vantaa.
*C Emil Molin (4th round/2011) was promoted to the Swedish Elite League for two games recently, registering no points for Brynas. Molin is now back in juniors, where he has 13 points (five goals, eight assists) and a plus-seven rating in ten games.
