Mike Ribeiro out Tuesday

By Mark Stepneski

FRISCO -- Stars center Mike Ribeiro, who injured his knee in Saturday's game against Edmonton, will not play in Tuesday's game at Anaheim.

"He's having an MRI on his knee. Ribby thinks he can play, which is a good sign, and he finished that game, which is always a real good sign. However, for the player and his career, we have to take a look at that knee," said Stars coach Glen Gulutzan. "He won't be a player for Tuesday. Once we get the results of the MRI we might fly him out Wednesday into LA."

Ribeiro was injured in a knee-on-knee collision with Edmonton defenseman Theo Peckham. He left the game for treatment and then returned to score two goals in the Stars' 4-1 victory over the Oilers.

Stars defenseman Sheldon Souray, who has missed the last six games with an ankle injury, practiced today. He is "60-40" to play in Tuesday's game against Anaheim, according to Gulutzan.

Defenseman Mark Fistric did not practice Monday due to the flu. He will travel with the team for Tuesday's game, but is questionable.

Goaltender Kari Lehtonen, who did not start Saturday's game due to a bout with the flu, practiced Monday and should be fine for Tuesday's game against the Ducks, Gulutzan said.

Here was Monday's practice lineup:

Ott-Benn-Ryder
Morrow-Wandell-Eriksson
Nystrom-Fiddler-Dvorak
Petersen-Dowell-Burish

Goligoski-Robidas
Grossman/Souray-Daley
Pardy-Jordie Benn

Lehtonen
Bachman
