Fox, DISH Network resolve dispute
DISH Network and Fox Networks resolved their fee dispute Friday, restoring coverage of the Mavericks, Stars, Big 12 and FC Dallas to subscribers of the satellite service.
North Texas DISH viewers had been without Fox Sports Southwest and other Fox Sports networks in October during the dispute. The long-term agreement also ended Fox's threat to pull its local networks from DISH, including KDFW (Ch. 4), which would have prevented subscribers from being able to watch the Rangers in next week's World Series games.
All Fox Sports channels were restored Friday to DISH subscribers in time for tonight's Mavericks-Grizzlies game on Fox Sports Southwest. FX and the National Geographic Channel have also been restored.
