About the Stars
The Stars defeated Columbus 3-0 Tuesday at American Airlines Center to keep their playoff hopes alive. Kari Lehtonen stopped 23 shots for his third shutout of the season.
“It’s always nice when you don’t let any goals in, especially in a situation like this one where you have to win,” said Lehtonen. “That was good that I was able to do my part and the guys did their part and that usually equals two points.”
Lehtonen is expected to start in goal for the Stars.
The Stars have won consecutive games for the first time since March 5-7 when they defeated San Jose and Los Angeles on the road.
