Dallas Stars Prospects: Notes and Stats

Stars goaltending prospect Jack Campbell and the Windsor Spitfires are heading to the OHL’s Western Conference Championship Series. Campbell stopped 25 shots for his second shutout of the series Sunday night as Windsor beat Saginaw 5-0 to take the West semifinal series 4-2.
After falling behind 2-1 in the series, Windsor won the final three games with Campbell stopping 80 of 85 shots in the three wins.
Campbell, who had a shutout in Game 1 of the Saginaw series, is now 8-5 in the playoffs with a 3.05 goals against average, a .905 save percentage and two shutouts.
Windsor will play Owen Sound in the Western Conference Championship Series.
Some other prospect notes:
*LW Matt Fraser (Kootenay/WHL) is tied for the goal scoring lead in the WHL Playoffs with 10 goals in 10 games and ranks seventh in points with 14. Kootenay plays Medicine Hat and fellow Stars prospects Jace Coyle and Alex Theriau in the WHL’s Eastern Conference Championship Series.
*D Jace Coyle (Medicine Hat/WHL) is second in defenseman scoring in the WHL Playoffs with 14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) in 11 games.
*D Hubert Labrie (Gatineau/QMJHL) leads the QMJHL playoffs with a plus-14 rating (11 games played). Labrie’s Gatineau team beat Drummondville 4-2 and has advanced to the QMJHL’s semifinals. Labrie was plus-11 in the final three games of the series.
*F Alex Guptill (Waterloo/USHL) had no points in two games as Waterloo was eliminated by Indiana in the USHL playoffs.
