Salty goes 2-for-6 with Oklahoma City

SURPRISE, Ariz. -- Jarrod Saltalamacchia went 2-for-6 and struck out twice playing for Oklahoma City against the Seattle Mariners' Triple-A club in Peoria, and catching-mate Taylor Teagarden was 1-for-2 with three walks and was hit by a pitch in six plate appearances for Double-A Frisco.

Meanwhile, back in Surprise with the Rangers, Chris Ray tossed a scoreless inning of relief against the A's but Neftali Feliz coughed up a three-run homer to Jake Fox in the ninth.

"I think he tried to pitch out there. I can't fault him for that," Rangers manager Ron Washington said. "After (the home run by Fox) he went back and did what he does best, overpowering people."
