ARLINGTON, Texas -- Michael Young and Ian Kinsler combined to bring the Rangers to within one run and to eventually tie the score, 5-5, with the Pirates on Thursday night.

Young, who has three strikeouts, tripled down the right field line in the seventh to bring in Elvis Andrus cutting the deficit to 5-4. Young's hit landed just under the glove of right fielder Lastings Milledge, who dove for the ball near the line. The ball skipped to the wall, allowing Young to get to third.

The Pirates brought the infield in with Kinsler up, but he lofted a single to left-center to tie the score. But Kinsler was thrown out trying to stretch the single to a double.

The Rangers, with a 10-game winning streak, trailed 4-0 in the first inning before mounting a comeback.
