Wilson exits after striking out 10

C.J. Wilson is done after a strong outing against the Red Sox.

Wilson struck out the first two hitters in the bottom of the seventh and went to a full count before walking Daniel Nava. That was it for Wilson, who left after throwing 113 pitches with 10 strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. He was a little wild with five walks, but the lefty held the Red Sox to just three hits and one run in a bid for his eighth win of the season.

Darren O'Day relieved and walked pinch hitter J.D. Drew before getting Marco Scutaro to pop out to Julio Borbon in shallow center. The Rangers lead, 3-1, through seven innings.
