ANAHEIM, Calif. -- The Rangers just made a late lineup change, inserting David Murphy in left field for Josh Hamilton.

The press box announcement didn't say why the change was made, but the assumption is because of his right knee tendinitis. Rangers officials said the move was to give the knee more rest and that Hamilton could pinch hit if necessary.

David Murphy will bat third. Hamilton had to leave last night's game after the knee bothered him.
