Some Cliff Lee numbers to chew on
* Lee went only 5.2 innings on Saturday. It's the first time in 22 starts this season that he failed to pitch at least six innings. His 21 straight starts in which he pitched at least six innings to begin the season is the second longest streak in 2010 behind only Brett Myers, who has done it in all 25 of his starts.
* It is also just the 7th time in the last 10 seasons that a pitcher has gone six or more innings pitched in at least their first 20 starts to begin a season.
Here are the most consecutive starts with at least six innings pitched to start the 2010 season:
Brett Myers: 25<<
Cliff Lee: 21
Adam Wainwright: 15
Ubaldo Jimenez: 14
Ryan Dempster: 12

* The eight runs allowed on Saturday by Lee ties his career high (done 4 times previously, most recently for Seattle in May).
* It’s the fifth time in his career he’s allowed six or more runs in back to back games and the first time since late last season.
* The last time Lee gave up four or more runs in three straight starts was Aug. 29 to Sept. 9, 2009. Just in case you're curious, he follwed that up with a shutout in his next start and ended up dominating in the playoffs for the Phillies.
