Game 1 lineups have few surprises

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Texas Rangers will indeed go with right-handed hitters Jorge Cantu at first base and Jeff Francoeur in right field against lefty Tampa Bay Rays starter David Price in today's Game 1 of their American League Division Series. As for the Rays, the one surprise is designated hitter Rocco Baldelli, who only recently re-joined the club and has just 10 regular-season games under his belt.

"I didn't expect that," Rangers manager Ron Washington said of Bardelli's inclusion. "[Rays manager] Joe [Maddon] knows his personnel. Everyone he's got on there here's got on there for a reason."
