Possible Series tickets go on sale Sunday

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Individual game tickets for possible 2010 World Series games at Rangers Ballpark will go on sale at 9 a.m. Sunday.

The Rangers are facing the New York Yankees in a best-of-7 American League Championship Series matchup. Games 3-5 are in New York, beginning Monday.

If the Rangers advance, there is a possibility of up to three World Series games that could be played in Arlington. The National League representative holds home-field advantage because of the league's win in July's All-Star Game.

The World Series is scheduled from Oct. 27-Nov. 4. The three games in Arlington would be Game 3 on Oct. 30; Game 4 on Oct. 31; and Game 5 (if necessary) on Nov. 1.

Tickets can be purchased online at texasrangers.com, by phone at 972-726-4377 or in person at the ballpark's box office. Hours for the phone sale and box office will be 9 a.m-4 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday.

Individuals may purchase a maximum of eight tickets per World Series game.
