SAN FRANCISCO -- Mark Lowe is waiting patiently for Texas Rangers manager Ron Washigton to finalize the 25-man roster for the World Series.

"I'm as ready as I can be," Lowe said. "I feel in midseason form right now."

Washington is contemplating adding at least one more right-handed reliever to bolster the bullpen against the predominantly right-handed hitting San Francisco Giants. The Rangers had four lefties in the bullpen against the New York Yankees. Clay Rapada and/or Michael Kirkman could be replaced by Lowe, who was acquired in the Cliff Lee deal. Lowe was injured at the time, recovering from surgery to repair a herniated disc he suffered attempting to field an Elvis Andrus bunt during a game in Seattle in May.

Washington said he will wait until Wednesday morning's deadline to complete the roster.

"I feel like I could be [added to the roster]," Lowe said. "But, I don't want to get my hopes up too high for an experience like this. It's in the back of mind, but just being here is amazing."

Lowe got into three games at the end of the season. In three total innings, he allowed four runs on seven hits.
