Players with Ranger ties considered for Hall?

A new voting system means more players with Rangers ties will be considered for the National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum. ESPN.com's Tim Kurkjian discusses that in this blog post.

The modified rules mean a committee met to discuss who should be on the ballot from 1973 through the present and that included eight players, three executives and a manager.

That list includes former Rangers manager Billy Martin (1973-75), Al Oliver (Ranger from 1978-81) and Rusty Staub (1980).
