Another big righty bat off the market?

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Paul Konerko has agreed to a three-year to remain in Chicago with the White Sox.

That's not surprising. But it means that another viable option for the Rangers is off the market. Konerko made sense because he could play first base and DH, giving the Rangers some flexibility.

They remain in the market for a DH, but it's likely to be a spot they fill later in the offseason, something they did with Vladimir Guerrero last year.
