Josh Hamilton's autograph will be by lottery

This just in from the Rangers about Sunday's autograph procedures at Fan Fest:

The Texas Rangers today announced that autograph tickets for Josh Hamilton’s Sunday afternoon session at the club’s 2011 Fan Fest event will be distributed via a lottery system.

All guests wishing to participate in the Hamilton autograph lottery will receive a numbered ticket between Noon, when the Fan Fest doors open on Sunday at the Arlington Convention Center, and 1:00 p.m. only. The lottery will close at 1 p.m. Fans must have an admission ticket to Sunday’s Fan Fest to participate in the lottery.

At 2 p.m., the 225 numbers that will receive a wristband for the Hamilton autograph session at 4 p.m. will be posted on the Grand Hall Main Stage TV and at other locations in the Arlington Convention Center.

Fans may then present their winning ticket to claim their wristband at a location to be announced on Sunday morning.

The procedure for receiving wristbands for the other nine autograph sessions on Sunday remains the same as it was on Saturday.

The hours for the 2011 Texas Rangers Fan Fest are Noon until 5 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at texasrangers.com.
