Rangers' lineup vs. San Francisco

SURPRISE, Arizona – It’s been a slow morning from a media perspective. The Rangers had their annual private concert with country music star Charley Pride followed by a meeting with the players association, so the clubhouse has yet to open to reporters.

We at least have a game against the San Francisco Giants to look forward to this afternoon. The Rangers are going with their regulars (minus Adrian Beltre) for the World Series rematch.

The Rangers’ lineup:

2B Ian Kinsler

SS Elvis Andrus

LF Josh Hamilton

DH Nelson Cruz

3B Michael Young

RF David Murphy

C Yorvit Torrealba

1B Mitch Moreland

CF Julio Borbon

RHP Tommy Hunter will start against San Francisco, which will leave a lot of its big names in Scottsdale. Lefty Arthur Rhodes and righties Darren O’Day, Brett Tomko and Mark Lowe are scheduled to pitch in relief.

The Giants' lineup:

CF Andres Torres

2B Mike Fontenot

SS Mark DeRosa

3B Pablo Sandoval

RF Cody Ross

1B Brandon Belt

LF Aaron Rowand

DH Nate Schierholtz

C Chris Stewart

RHP Ryan Vogelsong will start for the Giants, with righty Sergio Romo, lefty Jeremy Affeldt and righty Santiago Casilla.
