OAKLAND, Calif. -- The Texas Rangers have signed right-hander Justin Miller to a Triple-A contract and he is scheduled to join the Round Rock team on Monday.

The 33-year-old Miller was 0-0 with a 1.04 ERA in six appearances for Seattle's Triple-A affiliate, Tacoma, before asking for and being granted his release.

Miller, who could be called upon to help Texas' taxed and beat up bullpen, signed as a minor league free agent with the Mariners in November.

Miller is 24-14 with a 4.82 ERA in 216 games, including 33 starts, for Toronto (2002-05), Florida (2007-08), San Francisco (2009) and the Los Angeles Dodgers (2010).
